UFG Private Equity pursues three types of private equity transactions:
UFG Private Equity believes that it is critical for a target business to possess one or more sources of defensible competitive advantage that its competitors cannot replicate by the pure addition of capital.
We believe in the creation of transparent companies managed according to international corporate governance standards and processes.
We hone our investment strategy to the economic cycle, concentrating on the types of investments presenting the most attractive investment opportunities in the given economic environment.
- Investments in companies positioned for rapid growth, primarily in consumer-related sectors;
- Leveraged buyouts of established companies generating strong cash flow;
- Special situations that may involve debt restructuring, or “hybrid” debt-equity investments.
